A Delegation from the Henan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology Visits Our College for Research and Exchange
On February 26th, a delegation from the Henan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology visited our college for research and exchange. The meeting was attended by members of the college leadership team and some teacher representatives, and was chaired by Du Yangang, Party Secretary of the College of Biotechnology.
Du Yangang extended a warm welcome to Director Hong Bo and his delegation, introducing the university's development history, discipline construction, and scientific research endeavors. He pointed out that since the in-depth implementation of the "Pioneer Plan," the College of Biotechnology has achieved remarkable results in scientific research, industry-education integration, achievement transformation, and talent cultivation. He hoped that both parties could strengthen exchanges, achieve mutual promotion and win-win outcomes, and jointly contribute to the high-quality development of the regional economy.
Hong Bo, Director of the Provincial Food Industry Office, introduced the technological level and development status of the food industry, biomanufacturing industry, and biomedical industry in Henan Province. He expressed his hope that through this exchange, they could learn from the advanced experiences of the College of Biotechnology in implementing the "Pioneer Plan" and drive key projects such as biomanufacturing in Henan Province to new heights.
Teng Yu'ou, Associate Dean of the College of Biotechnology, introduced the advantages of the Tianjin biomedical industry and the discipline development, team building, and research platform construction of the College of Biotechnology. Qin Tiancang, Chairman of Henan Biological Industry Group Co., Ltd., Chen Li, Deputy General Manager of Henan Biological Industry Group Co., Ltd., Zhao Xinyan, Chairman of Jiaozuo Xinzhiyuan Technology Co., Ltd., Cao Huajie, General Manager of Henan Zhongyuan Yuze Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and Xie Hongxia, Deputy General Manager of Henan Zhongda Hengyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd., respectively introduced their companies' situations, development directions, and technological needs. Representatives of teachers from the College of Biotechnology shared their technological achievements in flavor and fragrance, organic acids, amino acids, Chlorella, and deep processing of yam, and engaged in in-depth collaboration with the participating enterprises.
